Are you ready to take the next step in your sewing journey but feel intimidated by the pattern instructions, and fabric decisions? Join us for our Intro to Garments: Getting Started workshop. In this one-day workshop we review everything you need to know about getting ready for your garment sewing projects. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, explaining and demystifying each step so that you can confidently choose and prepare for any sewing project. Examples of what we cover: Understanding the size chart and fit of the garment How much fabric to buy What kind of fabric to get and local resources Understanding the pattern pieces How to cut fabric properly You do not need to have a pattern during this workshop. We will use general examples and have references at hand. You are welcome to bring patterns and instructions if you want specifics. Open to all skill levels.
